1. Haan solo Since Cole Haan left Nike last year, after 24 years under its umbrella, the venerable shoemaker has got its mojo back. Clearly having learned something from its former owners, Cole Haan pulls off that difficult trick of introducing trendy and eye-catching colours more readily associated with trainers into more traditional men's footwear. We love the Colton Winter Wing Oxford shoe (right; HK$2,300) in khaki leather with funky purple laces, and we thoroughly recommend the Colton Winter Saddle Oxford (left; HK$2,300) in croc-print chestnut brown leather and rather fetching blue laces. Cole Haan is in Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong, tel: 2265 8386.
2. Scarf ace If you're reading this on the morning of the last day of Clockenflap, you probably still have a couple of hours to nip down to Paul Smith and bag yourself a proper rock 'n' roll accessory before heading to West Kowloon. Let's face it, it's going to be cold, so treat yourself to the right gig gear with either a Paul Smith signature-stripe wool-blend scarf (left; HK$1,450) or the luxurious Lamora stripe scarf (right; HK$1,550). Paul Smith is in The Landmark, Central, tel: 2523 5868.
3. Hide bound In a fashion-obsessed market such as Hong Kong it is rare to stumble upon a heritage or luxury brand you've never heard of. Step forward Serapian, a Milanese leather-goods maker with 90 years of history and creator of elegant men's bags, including this vivid orange leather iPad case (top left; HK$3,690) and the more classic black leather briefcase (bottom; HK$10,090). Serapian is available at Harvey Nichols, The Landmark, tel: 3695 3389.
