Inside, Prada's latest IT bag; Erdem dresses for autumn

Inside story The Inside is reportedly Prada's biggest bag launch since the debut of the iconic Galleria eight years ago. Demure and practical, this classic holdall's novelty lies in the bag concealed within the outer shell. Available in crocodile, ostrich and nappa, the bags come in subtle combinations such as salmon-aqua and vermillion-emerald green. Moody blues Erdem has acquired a tidy cache of A-list followers, including Kate Middleton, Michelle Obama and Alexa Chung. This season the brand has flooded the catwalks with ultra-feminine brocade frocks in earthy violets and greens and heirloom dresses in saccharine pastels. Silk voile and frayed trimming has been used to a vintage, rustic effect, as seen on the Bibi dress (above left; HK$21,400) and the Nisette (above right; HK$14,500). Star spangled Elizabeth and James' latest jewellery collection features earrings cast in primary shapes, bold bangles and cuffs in gold and silver. The gold bracelet with stone embellishments (top right; HK$1,690) is a standout, as are the star-shaped ear cuffs (above; HK$2,490) and ring (top left; HK$1,390).
