Autumn-winter goods for men from Zegna, H&M, Raf Simons

Black packs It's been a busy few months for H&M. As well as opening an enormous flagship store in Causeway Bay - seriously, it's huge - the company has been basking in the critical and sales success of its collaboration with French high-end label Balmain. Overall, the collection is one for the fashionistas but we do like the accessories for men, including the leather backpack (above right; HK$1,990) and black coin purse (above left; HK$299). H&M is at 2 Paterson Street, Causeway Bay.

Fabric of a man Ermenegildo Zegna's main line is so exceptional it's hard imagine how the brand could top it, but it has with Ermenegildo Zegna Couture. Featuring the world's best fabrics, we love this slightly futuristic look of greyish blue velvet jacket (HK$33,600), which is paired with corduroy trousers (HK$12,300) and cashmere silk turtleneck (HK$13,600) and accessorised with black deerskin leather backpack (HK$24,750) and brown leather Chelsea boots (HK$12,800; all above right). We also like this all business look of dark navy cashmere coat (HK$53,300), dark blue trousers (HK$15,300), white cotton shirt (HK$11,300), grey wool tie (HK$2,250) and dark brown leather Chelsea boots (HK$12,800; all above left). The writing's on the shirt Raf and Dior are no more. The Belgian designer shocked the fashion world with his decision to quit one of the top jobs in the industry a few weeks ago. The real reasons we'll likely never know, but Raf Simons said he wanted to focus on his eponymous label, so Dior's loss is menswear's gain in our book. Joyce has a perfectly timed, and exclusive, capsule collection with Simons for this autumn-winter. Biker boy So The goods has belatedly decided to binge-watch Sons of Anarchy, the American television show that’s all about bikers and the capers they get up to. It’s very good, not least because the leading man, Charlie Hunnam, has perfected that biker look. The leather jacket is key, of course, but just as important are some fine black leather boots and we recommend Marsell’s exclusive line for Mr Porter.
