Men’s winter fashion essentials from Lanvin Homme, Scotch & Soda

Quilt trip The most irritating thing about cold weather in Hong Kong is that it doesn’t last long enough to justify the expense of a decent winter wardrobe. To wit, The goods suggests picking up a quilted down jacket or two that are warm enough to cover your winter needs and light and airy enough to wear into the spring. Homme run If you follow fashion, you’ll know there’s a bit of a palaver going on at Lanvin with long-time artistic director Alber Elbaz’s rather abrupt exit in October. Fret not, though, Lucas Ossendrijver will still be designing at Lanvin Homme, so the men can rest easy. Ossendrijver’s winter collection is all foppish and bohemian, and we love this retro 1970s cop look of leather trench (HK$71,000), loose trousers (HK$7,800), jumper (HK$7,600), shirt (HK$6,500), necklace (HK$2,800) and slip-on trainers (HK$8,100; all above right).
