Fans of K-pop star Jungkook, one of the seven members of boy band BTS, are delighted that his solo song, Euphoria, was featured on the soundtrack of the season finale of HBO’s American teen drama television series Euphoria.
The show, which stars American actress and singer Zendaya in the leading role, follows the lives of a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship.
BTS has a huge following in North America after it performed a series of sell-out concerts in the United States in both 2018 and 2019 as part of its Love Yourself World Tour and the extended Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour.
Jungkook’s song forms part of the boy band’s compilation album, “Love Yourself: Answer”, which was released on August 24 last year.
The Grammy Award-winning Canadian music producer and mixer DJ Swivel, who produced the song, gave a hint about the track to the BTS Army on Twitter: “So who's watching @euphoriaHBO tonight?! ARMY u may catch a little surprise in there.”

Many fans expressed their delight at the song’s appearance. One online user wrote: “Euphoria on HBO just played Euphoria by BTS!”
Others were proud of the artist's influence and people’s acknowledgement of his music. Some viewers said they started listening to the song after hearing it played during the episode.
Jungkook, 21, made his show business debut in 2013 as a member of the seven-member boy band BTS with the single album “2 COOL 4 SKOOL”.
