The Real Housewives of Orange County – net worths, ranked: from Heather Dubrow and Shannon Storms Beador to newbie Noella Bergener, which cast member is the richest?
- Elizabeth Lyn Vargas and Kelly Dodd Leventhal have also left, replaced by the series’ first black member, model Noella Bergener, and aesthetic doctor Jennifer Armstrong
- Dubrow owes her fortune to her Californian plastic surgeon husband while Shannon Storms Beador makes bank from her veggie meals business and her divorce settlement
Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives has become a cultural phenomenon since it was first launched in 2006, spanning multiple franchises across the US, UK, Australia and even in Dubai. Now the one that started it all, centred on a luxurious Californian gated community – The Real Housewives of Orange County – is returning for its 16th season this December.
With three housewives departing, namely Braunwyn Windham-Burke, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas and the problematic Kelly Dodd Leventhal, fans are in for a cast shake-up this season. So, which housewives are returning, who are the newest additions and – of course – which of them is the richest?
Heather Dubrow – US$50 million
The prodigal housewife returns! As announced last year, Dubrow is returning for the 16th season after a five-year hiatus following her dramatic exit in 2016. The 52-year-old actress married her wealthy Californian plastic surgeon husband Terry Dubrow in 1999 and the couple recently moved into a 22,000 sq ft mansion they called “Dubrow Chateau” in the Crystal Cove area. Besides seven bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, the US$21 million mansion boasts a spiralling chandelier in the 9-metre-high (30-foot-high) hallway, a champagne chiller/art wall and a private cinema, as per Bravo TV.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, the mother-of-four is worth US$50 million, thanks to her husband’s massive income, and is often called “fancy pants” by her (hardly impoverished) fellow housewives due to her OTT lifestyle.
Shannon Storms Beador – US$20 million
According to Women’s Health, Beador has amassed a net worth of US$20 million. While her wealth comes mostly from ex-husband David Beador, she earns healthy pay cheques outside her TV gig, from personality bookings, endorsement deals and network sponsored events, on top of a US$800,000 salary for starring in RHOC, reports the publication.
Remember her frozen meals venture Real For Real Cuisine that she started in 2018? The business is reportedly doing well too, winning an award for its veggie burgers from the QVC shopping channel.
Jennifer Armstrong – US$2 million
The aesthetic MD is a newbie to the cast but is already winning over fans with her alpha female personality and all that wealth. Running her own private practice, Advanced Skincare Dermatology and Plastic Surgery, in Newport Beach, Armstrong is said to have a reported net worth of around US$2 million, reports The Cinemaholic.
A quick scroll through her Instagram page reveals her love for the high-end lifestyle, from accessorising with a private yacht to her Dolce & Gabbana ensembles. Her husband, Ryan Armstrong, owns a Hawaiian luxury property rental company.
Gina Kirschenheiter – US$1 million
Living a modest life compared to her fellow housewives, Kirschenheiter, an ex-flight attendant, earns most of her wealth from her divorce settlement with ex-husband Matt Kirschenheiter, as well as from her slew of Instagram sponsored content, reports Women’s Health.
Kirschenheiter received a salary of around US$100,000 for her first season on RHOC, on top of a US$10,000 monthly divorce settlement and close to US$10,000 from Instagram sponsored posts and events. She joined the reality show in season 13 and is currently living with her boyfriend, Travis Mullen, and their combined six children in a US$659,000 town house.
Noella Bergener – US$1 million
Debuting in her first season on RHOC is the gorgeous model (and the Orange County show’s first black housewife) Noella Bergener. According to Yahoo!, Bergener has a reported net worth of US$1 million and started her career in the early noughties walking on runways for the likes of Chanel.
On her Instagram, the 36-year-old housewife loves to don Burberry blouses and Louboutin shoes and tout Louis Vuitton handbags while flying private around the world with her recent ex-husband. In her promotional clip, she already got fans hooked when she shared, “I am a biracial, liberal, bisexual, bilingual woman who’s very proud and very outspoken”. She should go far.
Emily Simpson – US$800,000-US$900,000
Last but not least is Simpson, the show’s renowned lawyer and part-time party planner, who has a reported net worth of US$800,000-US$900,000. Her net worth might be the lowest among the housewives, but Simpson is still expected to be snagging a decent US$100,000 salary per season.
She joined the reality show in season 13 and lives with her husband and their three children in a gorgeous two-storey house that has a grand piano, a giant fireplace and a resort-like garden.
