Shiatzy Chen's autumn/winter 16 collection inspired by classic Chinese novel 'Journey to the West'

The legend depicts the odyssey of Tang Sanzang and his three disciples to the West to obtain the prized scriptures. The rich colours and designs of Shiatzy Chen's collection features hues inspired by the story's fanciful encounters with demons and exotic plot. Designs include embroidery, prints, decorations and independently developed fabrics with an unconventional presentation. The collection looks at Asian cultural fundamentals and goes beyond the boundary of traditional oriental elements.

Shiatzy Chen collaborates with famous Taiwanese illustrator Inca Pan, who creates portraits of Tang Sanzang and the three disciples in child-like hand drawing style.
