Chloe celebrates effortless Parisian chic with spring–summer 2017 collection

Creative director Clare Waight Keller references urbane innocence for Chloe’s spring-summer collection after following her heroines on globe-trotting journeys in recent seasons. The effortless simplicity of French style is what Keller does best for Chloe.

Simplicity and lightness are evident throughout. The white cotton summer dress and shirt dresses with side buttons ooze carefree Parisian spirit. Oversized, box-cut shirts are matched with slouchy shorts and accented with statement jewellery such as a necklace featuring a set of bronzed keys as a pendant. Other fun accessories include a dainty customisable bracelet.

Floral prints are presented in crocheted jumpsuits, applique summer dresses and as ditsy prints on drop-shoulder tiered dresses or a top worn with matching pants. The sporty chicness on show in recent Chloe collections gets a subtle encore this season with a couple of drawstring tops matched with shorts.

The house’s signature “flou” dress is rendered in sorbet palettes and in mini-dress length. The Boho-chic looks are treated with tiers of sweet ruffles.

Not to forget Chloe’s accessories. The coveted Faye bag is presented in backpack form and the new Nile clutch is perfect for women on the go.

There is no shortage of typical #ChloeGIRLS in the star-studded front-row - think digital influencers Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad sporting a blue silk pyjama-esque ensemble, while Chinese actress Song Jia opts for a chic boyish jumpsuit.
