The classic 

One of the last authentic and functioning sailing junks in Hong Kong, Wing Sing, has been recently restored by her private owners. Accommodating 20 by day and six overnight, the junk offers a rare taste of old Hong Kong. Wing Sing is available from HKD 26,500 per day (8 hours) or evening (5 hours).

The triple play

Climb aboard the Accelera 98 and you’ll have 30 metres to share with 50 friends on three decks. There is a jacuzzi on the flybridge, a karaoke area and barbecue facilities.

A trip on Hong Kong Yachting’s “Streaker” starts, docks and ends at a destination of your choice. The Arcadia 85 is perfect for junk-lovers seeking shade with a view. This eco-friendly superyacht with 40 square metres of solar panelling that can power the boat for 12 hours. A day on the Streaker starts at HK$78,000.

Hong Kong Yachting also charters a Sunseeker-like Riviera Orientale. Nicknamed the Mona Lisa, it is available from HK$250,000.

The sleek and petite

For smaller junk parties seeking speed and sun-filled fun, the Ferretti 690 is a powerboat with luxe perks. The 21-metre yacht hosts 18 people and can be kitted out with inflatables and jet skis – or play host to private parties.
