As summer beckons, it makes sense that the sunglasses collection to keep an eye on is one produced by two very different lens experts. Mykita eyewear and Leica Camera have come together for a debut sunglasses collection.
The elegant designs of the new range combine Mykita’s precision engineering with Leica’s lenses, which are of optical grade. The sunglasses echo the design of Leica’s cameras.
They are made from stainless steel or from a combination of stainless steel and Mylon, a 3D printed material developed by Mykita to create an additional sun barrier, much like a camera lens hood. The collection will be available at Leica’s shop in Causeway Bay.
