K-pop boy band BTS’ ‘Fake Love’ video surges past 400 million views on YouTube
The track is from the album ‘Love Yourself: Tear’, which topped the Billboard 200 chart after barely a week of its release
The music video of Fake Love, the international hit by K-pop boy band BTS, has soared past 400 million YouTube views, the group’s agency said on Sunday.
The artistically choreographed video, which was released on May 18, went past the 400 million mark on Saturday afternoon, Big Hit Entertainment said.
The song is the main track on the album “Love Yourself: Tear”, with which BTS rewrote K-pop history. The album, which was also released on May 18, topped the Billboard 200 chart about a week after its release, making it the first K-pop album to ever reach number one on a Billboard chart.
The song made it to 10th place on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
Fake Love is BTS’ fourth music video to have gone past 400 million views on YouTube, after Dope, DNA and Fire.
