Marvel Cinematic Universe: We rank the best Avengers costumes
Where is the fun in being a superhero if you don’t get to wear flashy outfits?
What is a superhero without a badass costume? A normal person.
A costume is integral to the overall look and feel of a superhero and, to be honest, what is the fun of being a superhero if you don’t get to wear flashy outfits?
With the Avengers arc coming to an end with Avengers: Endgame, we look back at some of the best costume designs in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Avengers: Endgame team suit
In Avengers: Endgame, the remaining team members wear similar costumes for certain scenes (this isn’t a spoiler – just check the trailer). While we won’t explain what it does (just in case some of you haven’t watched it yet), every time we see it on the screen we are reminded of a tube of Colgate toothpaste.
Hulk
He is a big lovable teddy bear, but the green skin paired with pants just doesn’t do for us (thankfully, they are not shreddable).
Captain America
We bet he actually bleeds red, white and blue. The highlight of the costume is the captain’s shield, which was made with vibranium by Howard Stark (the OG Stark) during the second world war.
Loki

The God of Mischief is one of our favourite characters – and for good reason. His wit, comedic timing and impeccable taste in costume has cemented his place in our hearts.
Black Widow
The best part about Black Widow is the variety of looks in her arsenal. From being a redhead to platinum blonde, she has pulled off every look flawlessly. She is mostly seen in tight black jumpsuits paired with utility belts.
Okoye
Rooted in tradition yet technologically-advanced, Okoye and other members of the Dora Milaje don formidable armour.
Spider-Man

Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man received his suit, designed and engineered by Tony Stark. Don’t let the suit fool you – it comes with Stark Industry Training Wheels Protocol and instant kill mode.
Nebula
Karen Gillan, the actress who plays Nebula, once told Variety that her costume felt “claustrophobic”. However, the cyborg look translates to something incredibly badass on screen.
Doctor Strange
The man has a magical, flying cape. We dare you to top that.
Iron Man
Iron Man is more than a suit. In case you were bored with one design, there are many others for your consideration. May we suggest Mk XLIV aka the Hulkbuster from Avengers: Age of Ultron?
T’Challa
Thanks to Shuri, his genius sister, T’Challa’s Black Panther suit has seen upgrades that could make any techie jealous.
