Jake Gyllenhaal and Kaya Scodelario sighted at star-studded Clash de Cartier event in Paris
Monica Bellucci, Rami Malek, Claire Foy and director Sofia Coppola also attended the party, which was held at the former royal palace that once imprisoned Marie Antoinette
Cartier celebrated the launch of its new jewellery collection, Clash de Cartier, with a star-studded event at the former royal palace that once imprisoned Marie Antoinette.
Kaya Scodelario, best known for her role in the British teen drama Skins, is the face of the Clash de Cartier collection and made her appearance at the event in an all-black ensemble and Cartier’s new wares.
Cyrille Vigneron, president and CEO of Cartier International, hosted the evening under the medieval halls.
A-list actors Jake Gyllenhaal, Monica Bellucci, Rami Malek, Claire Foy and director Sofia Coppola were in attendance. Singer Troye Sivan and rapper Tinie Tempah were also sighted, among others.
French disco group L’Impératrice, singer-songwriter Chris (also known as Christine and the Queens), British musician Billy Idol and electronic music group 2ManyDJs gave special performances throughout the night.
The Clash de Cartier collection bridges the maison’s historic signatures – the stud, clou carrés and beads – with a modern, minimalist expression.
