K-pop boy band BTS’ new mobile game BTS World will be released on Tuesday June 25 (Pacific Standard Time), says Netmarble Corp, one of the world’s leading mobile developers and publishers. The game will be released worldwide (apart from China) for iOS and Android devices.

Netmarble has produced and served some of the most successful mobile games including Lineage 2: Revolution, Blade & Soul Revolution, MARVEL Future Fight, Everybody’s Marble and Seven Knights.

Designed as a story-based interactive mobile simulation game, it takes players back to the formation of BTS, and allows them to take on the role of manager while guiding the group to become superstars.

The collection and upgrading of the member cards after each mission unlocks the storyline. Players will be able to virtually interact with BTS through a 1:1 interactive system.

Pre-registration is available at the website, where a mini-game demo can be found to give players a look at the game by featuring a game introduction, a BTS story and “From BTS” – a preview of the special mobile function that allows players to virtually interact with group members.

BTS becomes first K-pop band to play at Wembley Stadium

BTS World will reveal an original soundtrack from BTS leading up to the launch, starting with a subunit song by BTS’ Jin, Jimin and Jung Kook. Teasers for the video can be found on the preregistration website and BTS’ official YouTube channel.
