From Chanel to Chophard to Chaumet, here are the watches and other jewellery worn by Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin on the Korean drama

Smash hit K-drama Crash Landing on You is a South-meets-North love story about two unlikely lovers who meet when the female lead, Yoon Se-ri (played by Son Ye-jin), crashes her parachute into the northern side of the Korean Demilitarised Zone – and into the arms of actor Hyun Bin’s character, Ri Jeong-hyuk. Besides the intensifying feelings between the two lead characters throughout the series, what was most interesting, perhaps, were the cultural nuances between South and North Korea as well as the character’s fashion choices.
We spotted three luxury watch and jewellery brands that made an appearance in the series, which is currently screening worldwide on Netflix. Here’s a look at what Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin wore as the characters Yoon Se-ri and Ri Jeong-hyuk on the show.
Chaumet Joséphine Aigrette engagement ring
Yoon Se-ri received this Chaumet diamond ring in North Korea when her acquaintance from the South, Gu Seung-joon, proposed to her as a means to help her return to Seoul. It’s still a mystery to us how Gu Seung-joon managed to buy a luxury jewellery item from a French brand in North Korea.
