Former model-actress Michelle Reis launches Shiseido's Revital in Hong Kong

A slim and youthful looking Michelle Reis stopped by at The Mira hotel to launch Shiseido's Revital line of products. Socialite and sometimes actress Irene Wang Yuen-yuen and her mother were at Wednesday's event promoting the brand's age-controlling skin technology.

Reis, who turned 42 in June, said that eating well and exercising were also an important aspect of any beauty regimen.

"I like cardio. It's not that I like sweating, but it helps me clear my mind. I might walk on the treadmill or go hiking when the weather is cool," she said.

During the presentation, an old photo of the former model-actress and Miss Hong Kong was projected onto a screen showing how little her looks had changed over the years. "That photo was taken more than 20 years ago," she said. "I remember it was for a TV commercial by the length of my hair."

Reis gave birth to her son, Jayden Max Hui, last year and quickly regained her fit figure. She didn't feel much pressure to lose weight after having the baby. "I was lucky. I didn't gain that much weight, only 11kg, so it came off quite naturally in three months. It's normal to feel a little bloated though."

She said she had no plan to appear in a film anytime soon. "I've been an actress for so long. I want to take some time for this new role that I have as a mother." There are also no siblings on the horizon for Jayden. "It's so time-consuming having just one toddler," she said.
