A 63-year-old man has died after being crushed between two lorries in the car park of an industrial building in Kowloon Bay.

Police and firefighters were called to the car park on the ground floor of Yeung Yiu Chung (No 8) Industrial Building in Wang Hoi Road after receiving a report at about 12.10pm on Thursday, according to police.

“Initial information showed the man was trapped between two light goods vehicles and had to be freed by firemen,” a police spokesman said.

The victim was taken unconscious to United Christian Hospital in Kwun Tong, where he was later certified dead.

It was understood the man was the driver of one of the vehicles involved.

Officers from the Kowloon East traffic unit are investigating the cause of the incident.
