A timeless aesthetic

Introduced in 2002 to the iconic Seamaster family, the Aqua Terra blends city chic and ocean ingenuity seamlessly in its design with pure lines and touches inspired by the Omega 1960s models.  The classic twisted lugs and crisp, clean dial pay homage to the styles of the past, but without adding an open vintage feel.

A mini makeover

The passage of 15 years calls for a freshen up.  The 30 new Aqua Terra models produced for 2017 come in three different sizes and have been subtly updated with a refreshing new look to give a stylistic edge.  Ergonomically designed,  the beautifully symmetrical cases now achieve a seamless integration with the bracelet to provide a better fit for ladies with slim wrists. Re-proportioned and domed links give a more feminine appearance, while a new polished fold-over clasp adds comfort.

Other design twists hint at Aqua Terra’s marine heritage. The conical crown comes with waved edges to make it easier for delicate fingers to manipulate, with the design extended to the caseback.

Captivating dials

The dial of the Aqua Terra has been further pared down for a cleaner and crisper look. The date window is now positioned at 6 o’clock to maximise symmetry, and the ‘water resistance’ wording moved to the caseback to add to the purity.

Shining through is the gorgeous dial that comes in a dynamic range of materials and colours.  First to catch the eye is the enchanting Tahiti mother-of-pearl shimmering in iridescent grey.  The lustrous white pearled mother-of-pearl provides a soft and tranquil effect, while the coloured dials come in 14 beautiful shades. From glossy ice blue and lilac to opaline silver and velvety grey and many tones in between, there is a colour to match different moods and wardrobes. Diamond indexes on the dial and a glittering diamond-paved bezel in numerous models add radiance and superb elegance. The stylish look is completed by a bracelet crafted in stainless steel, 18K Sedna™ gold or a combination of both.  For those with a lighter preference, one model comes with a taupe-brown leather strap for a more feminine touch.

Beauty runs deep

The Aqua Terra is not just eye candy.  It’s also been beautifully engineered as a precision timepiece with an impressive performance.  The 34mm and 38mm models are equipped with the Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8800 / 8801, both certified at the highest level of precision, performance and magnetic resistance, as approved by The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). These two models come with a four-year warranty.

The 28mm model is powered by the quartz calibre 4061, with Omega’s iconic Seahorse medallion stamped on the wave-edged caseback to carry through the nautical theme.
