Macau’s first Portuguese fine-dining restaurant, Guincho a Galera is a branch of Portugal’s Michelin-star Fortaleza do Guincho, offering authentic and innovative cuisine. The rich interior, featuring orange and gold, thick carpeting and curtains, comfy chairs, white tablecloths and silverware, is classic with contemporary accents.

The chef’s recommendations are bacalhau and snail coquette, poached oyster with angel hair and caviar, and grilled king prawn Portuguese style. Desserts include beer brioche with stewed pear and beer ice cream, and Algarve Clementine gratin with mandarin orange sherbet. The wine list has nearly 17,000 labels from around the world.
