Improving weather sees doors reopened to fans at Hong Kong snooker and volleyball events
Cue ace Ng On-yee’s exhibition matches against Steve Hendry and Jimmy White will now start at 3pm

The exhibition snooker matches between local favourite Ng On-yee and two international legends of the game have been pushed back to 3pm and fans will be welcome as the weather improves in Hong Kong.
It was initially feared Ng’s matches against Steve Hendry and Jimmy White, to be held ahead of the 2017 Hong Kong Masters final at Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wan Chai, would be played behind closed doors because of the poor weather caused by tropical cyclone Roke.
The Hong Kong leg of the women’s volleyball World Grand Prix at the Coliseum in Hung Hom has also been reopened to fans, with Russia playing Japan at 1.15pm and China and Serbia clashing at 3.45pm.
The snooker final between Neil Robertson, the world number seven, and home favourite Ronnie O’Sullivan for the winner’s cheque of £100,000 (HK$1.02 million) starts at 7pm.
Fans that have changed their plans can still enjoy the snooker via Now Sports Channel 637 or ViuTV Channel 99, while the volleyball is live on TVB Jade.
