South China sealed their top spot in group G of the AFC Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Yadanarbon in Mandalay, Myanmar, last night.
Striker Daniel McBreen got a brace and Lam Hok-hei grabbed his first goal since joining the Caroliners from Rangers in January.
In the eight groups across Asia, South China were the only team to win all six matches.
The Caroliners will now meet Indian club Bengaluru (Bangalore) in a round-of-16 knockout match at Mong Kok Stadium on May 26.
Kitchee, meanwhile, will have to travel to Indonesia to play Persib Bandung in the next stage after the Hong Kong champions finished second in group F.
