Hang Lung Properties plans to open a new five-star hotel at its mixed use development in Shenyang in the first half of 2019.

The 315-room Conrad Shenyang hotel will occupy the upper 19 floors of the 67-storey office tower at a mixed use development, Forum 66, in Shenyang, Norman Chan, director (leasing and sales) of Hang Lung Properties said, on Wednesday.

“We are excited to work with Hilton to introduce the Conrad brand to Shenyang, a debut that will appeal to business and leisure travellers alike,” said Chan.

“The all-new hotel is ideally located on Qingnian Da Jie and is only steps away from our shopping mall, which will offer guests of the hotel a diverse array of services, shopping and lifestyle experiences.”

The grand ballroom, which can accommodate over 500 guests, will be a five-star venue for tenants of the adjacent office tower and the city’s elite.

The ballroom can cater to a variety of events and functions, including conferences and business meetings.
