The Dunhuang Caves in northwest China’s Gansu province are treasure troves of Buddhist artworks, accumulated over the course of more than a thousand years thanks to their location along the historical Silk Road between east and west.
The Hong Kong Heritage Museum will be showcasing these artefacts in their digital form at an exhibition, “Digital Dunhuang – Tales of Heaven and Earth” from July to October.

Hong Kong’s Central Police Station compound reopened on Tuesday after an eight-year, $484 million conservation project.
It has been reborn as the Tai Kwun Centre for Heritage and Arts, a cultural complex sitting in the grounds of what was once a police station and prison.
Photographer Nora Tam went to preview the buildings before they opened to the public. Check out our gallery for more.
