Steamed pork ribs with glutinous rice and smoke at Sha Tin 18

Sha Tin 18 brings top Chinese cuisine to the table in a contemporary setting

Best known for its Peking duck, hand-pulled noodles and dumplings, this restaurant serves regional Chinese delicacies as well as Cantonese favourites

Set in a tranquil corner by the Chinese University, Sha Tin 18 at the Hyatt Regency Sha Tin is worth the train ride to the New Territories.

The contemporary-style restaurant is famed for its Peking duck, hand-pulled noodles and dumplings, but there are four show kitchens with delicacies ranging from northern Chinese cuisine, homestyle Dongguan fare, Cantonese favourites
and desserts.

Traditional Chinese desserts are offered but the more innovative options are winners, particularly the preserved plum sherbet, Chinese wine chocolate and jasmine milk tea ice cream. Wine pairing
is available.

Sha Tin 18 has a contemporary interior.
