Operetta appeals to fans of contemporary Italian cuisine
Pasta and pizza are given a Mediterranean twist with touches of Asian spices
On the spot where Dan Ryan’s once stood in Pacific Place, Operetta offers a young and contemporary Italian concept. With head chef Fabio Sgrò and award-winning culinary director, chef Mitsuru Konishi, diners are in for a treat.
Italian classics such as pasta and pizza are given a Mediterranean twist with touches of Asian spices. The décor is done in wood, stone and fabrics, and the bar is ideal for pre-dinner drinks. The menu offers pastas such as tagliatelle with pesto alla Genovese and ravioli filled with ricotta, shallots and hazelnuts. Meat dishes include ossobuco alla Milanese, and Scottish lamb chops. Must-try desserts include panna cotta and lava cheese tart.
