Bjorn Frantzén of the two-Michelin-star Frantzén in Stockholm opened Frantzén’s Kitchen in late 2016, offering modern Nordic with Asian influences. It has a casual ambience, and the food is good.

Located on a quiet street, Frantzén Kitchen is small and the food is highly recommended.

To start, try snacks of apple lingonberry with foie gras parfait and Swedish sushi.

For mains, the sashimi of Norwegian salmon with king crab, dill and trout roe and the roasted Swedish pork belly with carrot hot sauce, pumpkin, dried kale and roasted garlic are good. A sticky beetroot dessert catches the eye, with old vinegar, liquorice and berries; or smoked ice cream with toasted nuts, tar syrup, salted fudge and cloves. Swedish beer, gin and vodka and artisanal wines are available.
