Chinese international women’s goalkeeper Wang Fei has signed a two-year deal with French Ligue 1 champions Lyon, the club confirmed on Friday.

The 25-year-old was a member of the Chinese team that reached the quarter-finals of the Women’s World Cup in Canada in June before falling 1-0 to the United States.

Wang, who has 60 caps for the Steel Roses, previously played for German outfit Potsdam Turbine where she featured in nine matches in the second half of last season.
