Chan Kin-wa

Hong Kong squash ace Joey Chan Ho-ling had to settle for silver after being soundly beaten in the final at the World Games in Wroclaw, Poland.
In the gold-medal match, the 29-year-old was no match against world number three Camille Serme of France, losing in straight games 11-4, 11-3, 11-4.
This came after Chan’s massive victory over former world number one Nicol David of Malaysia in the previous round.
The result is Hong Kong’sbest so far at the multi-sport games featuring non-Olympic programmes.
Wu Siu-hong and Michael Mak Cheuk-yin won a bronze in the men’s doubles of tenpin bowling earlier in the week.
“This is an unforgettable trip and I feel so happy about my performance and the result,” said world number 19 Chan.
“It is a true reflection of my hard work and I know everyone is working so hard to help improve Hong Kong.
“A big thanks to Hong Kong Squash, the Sports Institute and my coaches Faheem Khan and Rebecca Chiu for their backing.”
