Asian basketball fans have reason to cheer after NBA champion Jeremy Lin gave a hint about his future plans during his visit to Taiwan.
According to reports in Taiwanese media, the 30-year-old free agent is considering playing in the region.
“About five years ago, I began to consider whether I should play basketball in Asia, because every year when I visit the region I see so many fans, and they make me want to play a few seasons in the region,” Lin said in Taipei.

“I would consider it,” Lin said of playing in Asia. “And of course, my greatest dream is to play on the same team as my younger brother.”
Lin’s brother, Joseph, plays in Taiwan’s Super Basketball League with the Fubon Braves.
