- Free agent still does not have a new team since leaving the Toronto Raptors
Confusion surrounds the future of NBA free agent Jeremy Lin after a proposed move to Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow fell apart.
Lin had been reported to be the Super League side’s top target, but conflicting reports have emerged since it became apparent he will not be making the move to the Russian capital.
Several media outlets have reported the former Toronto Raptors man rejected the Euroleague side and current Russian champions.
It is said Lin is not interested in a move to Europe now and wants to wait for interest from an NBA team.
However, Andrey Karshashov, a sports journalist for Russian news agency TASS has said the side were never interested in Lin and there were never any talks between club and player.
“Numerous news kept popping up about Jeremy Lin’s refusal to join CSKA Moscow,” he wrote on Twitter.
