Jeremy Lin was straight back into the Beijing Ducks’ starters and duly delivered in a 105-83 blowout of the Bayi Rockets in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Thursday.
The 19th placed Rockets struggled to keep up with the Ducks early on, with Lin and Co. securing a 30-point lead by half-time.
The 31-year-old Lin, who missed the last CBA match due to a muscle strain, dropped a game-high 22 points with seven assists, three rebounds and one steal upon his return to Wukesong Arena.
The Ducks are now on a two-game streak having previously recorded their first back-to-back losses.
Former Toronto Raptors star Lin wore a pair of custom shoes in a tribute to Taiwanese-Canadian actor and friend, Godfrey Gao, who died at just 35 after collapsing on the set of a reality show in eastern China on Wednesday.
