NBA ‘interest’ in Jeremy Lin as free agency contract window set to open
- Free agents can officially sign a contract from Sunday afternoon in the US as ‘contenders are showing interest’ in 32-year-old
- ‘Been a huge off season for me and grateful for all things I’ve been adding to my game!’ Lin says of comeback bid

Jeremy Lin’s NBA comeback could be over as soon as Sunday night in the US when free agency contracts can be signed.
While teams have been able to speak to free agents since Friday at 6pm (Eastern Time) contracts can only be signed from 12.01pm (Eastern) on Sunday, November 22 – 1.01am Monday morning (Hong Kong time).
NBA reporter Alex Kennedy tweeted that a number of teams are “showing interest” in the 32-year old, who spent last season with the Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association after leaving the NBA.
“Source: Jeremy Lin wants to return to NBA and contenders are showing interest,” Kennedy wrote on Twitter on Sunday morning (Hong Kong time).
“Lin spent last year in China, averaging 22.3 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 5.6 APG,” he added, of a season that took the Ducks to the play-off semi-finals and a buzzer-beater from Lin away from OT in the decider.
Rumours of a return to either the Golden State Warriors, who signed Lin as an undrafted 21-year-old back in 2010, or the Brooklyn Nets have been fuelled by photos of Lin in workouts with players from both teams during the off-season.
