Jeremy Lin’s NBA comeback took another turn with the 11-year career veteran sitting out his fourth G League game in a “minor setback”.

Lin was once more on the injured list for the Santa Cruz Warriors game against the Iowa Wolves on Tuesday (Florida time), sitting out back-to-back games as he attempts to prove his fitness to NBA teams.

His absence from Monday’s overtime win against the Agua Caliente Clippers had fuelled speculation that the 32-year-old would sign a 10-day contract with an NBA team on Tuesday.

That did not happen and Lin was on the injured list as the G League Warriors looked to make it five wins in a row against a team who are 0-8 this season.

Lin, who was shown watching his teammates from the stands on both Monday and Tuesday, dismissed concerns over sitting out another game on social media.
