Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has spoken of his support for Jeremy Lin after the NBA veteran’s social media post calling out racism against the Asian-American community and claiming that he was called “coronavirus” on court.
Kerr said he would support an investigation into Lin’s claim, which he revealed on Instagram and Facebook on Thursday.
“Being a 9 year NBA veteran doesn‘t protect me from being called ‘coronavirus’ on the court,” Lin wrote. He plays in the G League for the Golden State affiliated Santa Cruz Warriors.
