Jeremy Lin’s NBA comeback hopes were given an extension as helped the Santa Cruz Warriors secure a place in the G League playoffs.
Santa Cruz leapfrogged the Erie Bayhawks with a 121-91 win over the top ranked team and qualified for the postseason, which begin on March 7
The Golden State Warriors congratulated their G League affiliate on Twitter after the win. “LET‘S GOOOOOOOO” they wrote.
Lin, playing his second game in a row after sitting five out, put up nine points and nine assists in the win. He scored the opening basket of the game with a three-pointer.

Rumours that Lin’s dreams of an NBA comeback will come true are growing online, with fans asking the Golden State Warriors to call him up from their G League affiliate.
Teammates Jordan Poole and Nico Mannion have already been called up.

The 32-year-old played play-off basketball last season in China with the Beijing Ducks and in the NBA in 2019, when he won the championship with the Toronto Raptors.
Santa Cruz are the form team in the G League and on a nine-game winning streak.
The play-offs are single elimination games this season as part of the shortened schedule inside the bubble at Walt Disney World in Florida.
