Jeremy Lin’s NBA comeback hopes were given an extension as helped the Santa Cruz Warriors secure a place in the G League playoffs.

Santa Cruz leapfrogged the Erie Bayhawks with a 121-91 win over the top ranked team and qualified for the postseason, which begin on March 7

The Golden State Warriors congratulated their G League affiliate on Twitter after the win. “LET‘S GOOOOOOOO” they wrote.

Lin, playing his second game in a row after sitting five out, put up nine points and nine assists in the win. He scored the opening basket of the game with a three-pointer.

Rumours that Lin’s dreams of an NBA comeback will come true are growing online, with fans asking the Golden State Warriors to call him up from their G League affiliate.
