Jeremy Lin has strongly indicated that he sees his playing career back in Asia after being quizzed about his next move on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old was responding to a question about the potential of a move to play in Europe following his failure to be picked up by an NBA franchise following a campaign in its development G League.
“I’ve definitely considered it but a big part of my story is growing up in America with parents and grandparents who were raised in Asia,” Lin said during a talk at the online Collision conference. “A strong part of my heart is going back and playing in Asia.”

Lin spent last season playing in China with the Beijing Ducks, where a successful spell ended with him narrowly missing out on an appearance in the China Basketball Association’s finals.
After a year in Beijing, Lin opted to return to the United States with a goal of making an NBA comeback. He played a season with G League outfit Santa Cruz Golden State Warriors in an effort to earn a place on an NBA roster, but in the end he was the highest scoring player to not earn a spot with a franchise.
