It’s no secret boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jnr enjoys flaunting his wealth. He’s undoubtedly one of sport’s biggest money earners ever with mansions, private jets, a fleet of expensive cars and jewellery – expensive stuff he unashamedly likes to show off in his Instagram account.
The unbeaten boxer (50-0-0) would be the luxury brand’s most loyal customer. But somehow, he wasn’t the best customer around after police had to be called in after reports of an altercation in an upscale jewellery story in downtown Miami.
“Money” reportedly got into a heated argument and was involved in a “fight” with a jewellery store owner at Seybold Building. That’s when the cops were called in but the fleet-footed 42-year-old boxer, who has earned hundreds of millions of dollars fighting Conor McGregor and Manny Pacquiao, was nowhere to be seen when Miami’s finest turned up.
Reports say that Mayweather was looking at a precious stone but then got upset before getting involved in a fierce argument with the jewellery store owner. Miami police confirmed the altercation on Thursday evening, but couldn’t reveal details.
