Boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jnr posted videos of himself on Instagram counting his cash and shadow boxing on the helipad of the Peninsula hotel after making a quick trip to discuss a potential mega-money exhibition in Hong Kong.

The unbeaten American boxer on Friday held preliminary talks with local promoters DEF Promotions, to discuss showcasing his legendary skills in the city – but made sure to grab some leisure time too.

Mayweather is looking to promote his TMT [The Money Team] brand in Asia, having also travelled to Tokyo this week to discuss the possibility of more exhibition fights in Japan.

The 42-year-old has visited Hong Kong several times and usually stays at the Peninsula in Tsim Sha Tsui, occupying the presidential suite that provides a breathtaking view of Hong Kong’s skyline. The Peninsula told the Post that the suite costs HK$168,000 (US$21,600) a night.

That beautiful view was on full display in one video posted to Mayweather’s 22.7 million Instagram followers.
