No dream is too big and no dreamer too small, at least not for promising Hong Kong super lightweight boxer Taqdeer Singh.

The 21-year-old Sikh is set on switching to the professional ring, but only after he has done enough at amateur level for the city he was born and raised in.

“I want to achieve as much as I can and bring back medals to Hong Kong,” the 2022 Hong Kong Championship winner – who went 6-1-0 in the tournament – said.

“I’d love to represent my birthplace in overseas bouts, and then the Asian Games, World Championships and even the Olympics if I get the chance.”
