Day eight of action in Paris is yet to begin, but China has already guaranteed itself silver and gold medals.
And while the country seems to have medals at its disposal today, a whole array of Eiffel Tower scraps are up for grabs.
While eyes on this part of the world will be transfixed to racquet sports, there’s a whole buffet of sports available in the French capital.
So here’s five things you’ll want to keep your eyes on with all times noted in Hong Kong Time.
Gold guaranteed

This could go one of two ways: either it’s a snoozefest, or everyone’s glued to their screens.
And that’s because China have already bagged both gold and silver medals in the table tennis women’s singles and badminton women’s doubles, but who will ultimately take them?
On the badminton courts, Chen Qing Chen and Jia Yi Fan will battle Liu Sheng Shu and Tan Ning at 4:10pm, while China’s table tennis world No 1 and No 4 Sun Yingsha and Chen Meng, respectively, meet at 8:30pm.
But don’t forget, another Chinese badminton bonanza will feature He Bing Jiao and Chen Yu Fei going at it in the quarter-final at 6pm.
Return of the Pommel Horse Guy

He may not be able to tame a wild stallion, but Stephen Nedoroscic, or the “Pommel Horse Guy”, became an internet sensation overnight.
The one-trick pony napped during the men’s artistic gymnastics team final, whipped his glasses off and executed a seamless routine on the pommel horse to clinch bronze for the United States.
Well, the bespectacled American hero is back in action in tonight’s pommel horse final at 11:16pm.
Before the internet runs wild once again, though, China’s Zhang Boheng will vie for a spot on the men’s floor exercise podium at 9:30pm.
And for even more gym bustle, the legendary Simone Biles is back on the mats, this time for the women’s vault final at 10:20pm.

Queen Wen, when?
China’s top-ranked tennis sensation has already engraved her name in the country’s tennis history, but opportunity knocks for her to serve up more magic.
Zheng Qinwen’s gold medal match against Croatia’s Donna Vekic may be the piece de resistance for Chinese fans in Paris tonight, as Zheng is just one match away from her country’s first-ever tennis Olympic singles gold.
Novak Djokovic has praised Zheng’s rise, though added he is torn on who to root for.
She’ll hit the clay courts for arguably the biggest title of her career at some point after 6pm today, but expect the unexpected with Olympic tennis.

We mentioned this yesterday, but athletics walked into a pretty mellow start, if you know what I mean.
But that’s all about to change, and we’re even getting to see the ‘world’s fastest woman’, Sha’Carri Richardson, in the women’s 100 metres semi-finals and finals all packed into one day.
Sprinters will push off the blocks at 4:35pm for the preliminary rounds, followed by semis at 1:50am and finals at 3:20am.
And elsewhere on the track – and the field – the men’s 100m round 1 begins at 5:55pm, the shot put final at 1:35am and triple jump, mixed 4x400m relay and decathlon 1500m finals all squeezed between 2 and 4am.
Let the ring talk

Imane Khelif is back in action after misinformation surrounding her gender overshadowed her victory over Angela Carini.
The Algerian faces Hungary’s Anna Luca Hamori in the women’s 66kg semi-final, with the Hungarian having shared several vitriolic posts attacking Khelif on social media. The action is set to start at 11.22pm.
Meanwhile, three Chinese boxers will also take to the ring.
Women’s 50kg specialist Wu Yu will face Thailand’s Chuthamat Raksat in the ring at 10:34pm for her quarter-final round.
After her bout, it’s headliner event as Yang Wenlu contests Chinese Taipei’s Wu Shih Yi in the women’s 60kg semi-final.
Capping off an action-packed night, Yang Liu will tussle for a semi-final berth against Belgium’s Oshin Derieuw at 3:52am.
The punches are flying this weekend, and there’s plenty in store to keep you up.
