Beijing Ducks star Jeremy Lin guided his team to another win in his Chinese Basketball Association home debut on Wednesday night.

The hosts beat the Shandong Heroes 105-102 at a packed Cadillac Arena to make it two wins from two in the 2019 season.

Lin posted 24 points and six rebounds, while Justin Hamilton top-scored for the team with 35. Shandong’s Lester Hudson, the CBA finals MVP last season with the champion Liaoning Flying Leopards, dropped 30 points and nine rebounds.

His adoring fans were treated to Jay Chou’s “Dragon Fist” every time Lin scored, a recommendation that came from the singer, who is a good friend of Lin.

The 31-year-old also hit his first CBA career three-pointer, meaning his promise to donate 3,000 yuan (US$428) to charity for every one he hits this season is off the mark.

The Ducks pledged to match the figure before the game, ensuring that 6,000 yuan is on its way to a good cause.
