Jeremy Lin scored 33 points for the Beijing Ducks but it was not enough as the team fell to a second consecutive defeat, losing to the Nanjing Monkey Kings 101-100.

The visitors fell in a dramatic late collapse, having led the game from tip-off. The Ducks were 12 points ahead at the start of the fourth quarter.

Lin had scored 18 in the third quarter, drawing comparisons to the Linsanity period of 2012 in the Chinese media.

He also added five rebounds and two assists alongside his 33 points but ultimately it was for no reward after teammate Fang Shou missed the buzzer-beater.

Defeat leaves the Ducks fifth with a 14-8 record having played a game more than the teams above them. The top four teams progress straight to the quarter-finals of the play-offs.
