Jeremy Lin kept his nerve to lead the Beijing Ducks to victory over the Zhejiang Golden Bulls in their Chinese Basketball Association match in Qingdao on Tuesday.

The game, played behind closed doors after the CBA returned from its five-month coronavirus hiatus last month, finished 92-90 with the 31-year-old sealing the win from the free-throw line at the buzzer.

Lin drew a foul with 0.6 seconds left on the clock and sunk both from the charity line to seal a vital win as the Ducks look towards the play-offs at the end of the month.

However, it appeared he tried to miss the second of the free-throws to avoid giving Zhejiang the chance for a final basket attempt.

Lin backed this up on Instagram after the game. “Man … so many hard-fought games in the CBA,” he wrote.

“Praising God for the (kinda) FT buzzer beater … but got roasted by my team for the subsequent worst intentional FT miss of all-time smh Big win but quick turnaround. Gotta rest up for another one tmrw,” he added, ahead of taking on CBA champions Guangdong Southern Tigers on Wednesday.
