The jersey worn by Chinese college football sensation Jackson He for the Arizona State University Sun Devils has gone on display at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia.
The exhibit marks He’s achievement of becoming the “first Chinese-born player” to feature in the Power Five conference on December 5 and his first touchdown a week later, a one-yard run in a Football Sub Division win over the University of Arizona on December 11.
He’s was the last score of a 70-7 win that sealed the Territorial Cup for the Sun Devils, after scoring he pointed to his Chinese name He Peizhang written on the back of his No 32 jersey.

“He came to Arizona state after moving thousands of miles from his hometown of Shaoguan, China,” the College Football Hall of Fame wrote in a tweet.
The Sun Devil only took up American football after arriving in the US as a 17-year-old, moving to San Diego for high school from his native Guangdong province. He later returned to China and played for Foshan Tigers in the American Football League of China before enrolling at Arizona State.

He’s touchdown performance saw a huge increase in interest in the sport and a deal to broadcast the next game in China. Tencent showed the ASU Sun Devils play Oregon State on December 19.
His helmet and uniform will be on display until September when the new season begins, The Arizona Republic newspaper’s AZCentral website reported.
It is displayed alongside Vanderbilt kicker Sarah Fuller. She became the first woman to play in a Power Five conference game last November, scoring her first point in December.

Hong Kong-born Herman Lam scored two touchdowns for Georgia Tech in 1969, 51 years before He’s score against the University of Arizona.
