China’s UFC champion Zhang Weili was among those in the crowd at Super Bowl LV on Sunday night, with the Tom Brady fan there as one of 30,000 cardboard cut-outs.

A limit of 25,000 fans were in the stands at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, to see Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs in a one-sided 31-9 victory.
The rest of the seats at the first socially distanced Super Bowl were filled with cut-outs, which were sold for US$100 each. Zhang was one of the famous faces among them.
A video shared on Weibo by “Zhang Weili MMA”, her verified personal account, showed the UFC strawweight champion’s cardboard likeness in position behind the Chiefs end zone.
“As a fan of @TomBrady, I’m so excited to see the old man enter #Super Bowl# again! @NFL the 55th Super Bowl is about to start, come and join me to cheer for Brady!,” the video was captioned.

Zhang later congratulated Brady on his seventh Super Bowl victory – one more than his former team, the New England Patriots, the NFL’s most successful team.
