A fierce competition is playing out on the catwalk as Russia and Australia unveil their national team uniform for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Russia has again teamed up with Zasport, the outfitter of the Russian Olympic team since 2017, to produce a diverse range that includes a onesie, bum bags, full-faced ski masks, and a more youthful line of T-shirts and hoodies. Like the Summer Games in Tokyo, the Beijing uniforms will not feature Russia’s logo or flag to comply with doping sanctions. Instead, all uniforms will feature the Russian Olympic Committee’s three flames in red, white, blue and grey. The Australian Olympic Committee has also unveiled the formal uniforms for its Olympic team. Designed and supplied by Australian brand Sportscraft, the uniforms will be worn at team and Olympic functions both during and after the Games. The feature piece of the uniform is the longline wool blend coat in deep navy that is lined with the names of all 265 Australian Winter Olympians, from the first winter competitor Kenneth Kennedy in 1936, to Olympic champions like Alisa Camplin, Torah Bright and Steven Bradbury.
