Olympic outfits for the Norwegian men’s curling are a sense of err, pride? So much so that there are numerous Facebook pages dedicated to their fashion-forward Olympic get-up. Here’s a stand-out from the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

Russian Olympic outfits are the gift that just keeps on giving. Here they are during the 2002 Salt Lake City Games perpetuating every single Russian stereotype you can imagine.

Hats off

The Russian have had their fair share of stinkers over the years. Here they are in full length trench coats and matching hats for the Olympic Games opening in Albertville.

What’s that adage? Lime green should never be seen. South Korea clearly did not get that memo ahead of the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville.

Howdy!

Who can forget Canada’s clobber from the 1988 Olympics. On second thought, maybe it’s best we did forget. To make matters worse, it was in front of a home crowd.

The horror

You cannot help but feel sorry for Team USA’s cyclists, who had to suffer through the 2012 London Olympics in these very unfortunate outfits.

Look away now

History has not been kind to Ralph Lauren’s efforts for team USA’s unfortunate ensemble at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. Ouch.

Pants down!

Henrik Harlaut’s baggy ski pants caught even more air than he did during a qualifying run at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, but that did not stop him from taking a respectable sixth place.

Giddy up

Not to pick on Team USA, but they’ve certainly had their fair share of questionable outfits. Here’s alpine skiers Bill Johnson (wearing hat) and Doug Lewis getting fitted before the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.

Yes, they are capes

So this is where JK Rowling got the inspiration for the costume for Harry Potter? But seriously, these capes from team Morocco are actually kind of cool, if you’re a fan of Star Wars and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
