China topped the medal table at the 2026 Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup in Cairo, with a team of rising stars and Olympic champions securing three gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
Competition concluded on Monday with China claiming gold in the men’s parallel bars, horizontal bar and the women’s floor exercise.
Ke Qinqin won gold in the women’s floor exercise with a score of 12.966 after a fluid and stable routine.
The 15-year-old also took home silver on the balance beam with 13.166, making her China’s top performer with one gold and one silver.
Ke’s World Cup debut follows a dominant breakout performance at the National Games five months ago, where she secured five golds and two silvers.
Her teammate Qiu Qiyuan took bronze on the balance beam, finishing behind Kaylia Nemour of Algeria who won gold and Ke.
