Champions League TV schedule in Hong Kong: Now TV, i-Cable fixtures and channels for matchday one

All the details you need to know for this week’s Champions League and Europa League action on local broadcasters i-Cable and Now TV with some huge games first up

The wait is over for Hong Kong football fans as the Champions League gets under way for a new campaign this week.

For the first time since 2009 there is no exclusivity deal in Hong Kong, with games from European football’s premier club competition to be broadcast by more than one provider.

There are 11 Champions League matches and six Europa League games being broadcast across i-Cable and Now TV channels in Hong Kong this week.

Fans will also be happy that Uefa is beginning a three-year trial of implementing some earlier Champions League kickoffs, akin to the Europa League, with certain games now starting at 12.45am (Hong Kong time).

While that might make it easier to stay awake for some matches, it does mean the later games have been pushed back to 3am Hong Kong time.
