Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp struggles to control his emotions in post-match interview after stunning Barcelona fightback
- German struggles to fight back the tears as he talks after the game
- Reserves special praise for his heroes on the night

An overwhelmed Jurgen Klopp faced the cameras just moments after delivering a post-match team-talk to his victorious players following their stunning comeback win over Barcelona, and he could have talked all night.
So excited was the German manager, BT Sport’s interviewer was forced to draw the interview to a close himself before receiving a warm embrace from Klopp, who struggled to hold back the tears several times when discussing the gargantuan efforts of his players in overcoming the tournament favourites in such a sensational fashion at Anfield on Tuesday night.
Klopp even excused himself before employing a profanity to illustrate his amazement at what his players had achieved.
“It’s 10.10pm,” Klopp said. “Most of the children are probably in bed so: these boys are f***ing mentality giants! It’s unbelievable. It’s unbelievable. Fine me. Fine me if you want but I’m not native so I don’t have better words for it. They are mentality giants. It’s just not possible [what they did].”

The German seemed overwhelmed at the start of the interview discussing the roller coaster of emotions his players had put him through.
